Busy cycling weekend ahead

Boyle’s Curlieu Wheelers cycling club have a busy weekend ahead.

This evening (Friday) club members Joe Mulleady and Conor Nerney will take part in the Claremorris Town Centre Criterium race at 9pm.

On Saturday a number of members will head to Belcoo in Co. Fermanagh for the Tour of the Fracking Country. There are two routes- 100k and 140k with sign on at 9am.

Also on Saturday the racing scene moves to Galway.

On Sunday Castlerea will hold the St. Michael’s School cycle with 10k, 40k and 100k on offer.

Also on Sunday in Lisnaskea some members will participate in the Tour of Fermanagh while racing takes place in Donamon.

With the Curlew Warrior run and other cycling events on Sunday, there will be no official club spin on the day.

National Bike Week activities in Boyle will see an Introduction to Mountain Biking workshop on Saturday in Lough Key Forest Park (10am-1pm) and a Family Cycle on Sunday at 3pm.
