Celtic in Cup final action tonight

Tonight, Friday 13th sees newly crowned league champions Boyle Celtic take on Carbury FC in the Radisson Blu WB Yeats Cup Final.

Boyle manager Darren Hurd is asking ‘Celtic supporters to travel in numbers to Sligo tonight to support the team.

Manager Hurd told Boyletoday.com “As a manager I can’t but be proud of such a great bunch of lads and what they have achieved in the last one and half seasons since I’ve been involved. They have won the Yeats Cup last season and were runners up in the league, going one better this year winning the league and unbeaten and getting into the yeats Radisson Blu Cup final. It’s a remarkable achievement by the squad. I hope the soccer family of Boyle come out and support the team on Friday evening. Don’t underestimate the achievements of this team this season to date with more possibly to come” concluded Darren.

Boyle will hopefully complete the double tonight winning both league and cup but they will face tough opposition from a strong Carbury who defeated Yeats United in their semi final.

Kick off at Ray McSharry Park in Sligo is at 8pm.
