Boyle members of Ex Servicemen and Personnel will unveil a “Congo Plaque” in Boyle on Wednesday 27th July.
The plaque will commemorate the Boyle ex servicemen who served with the first Irish soldiers who took part in the United Nations Mission from 1960-1964 to the Congo.
The ceremony will take place in Boyle Library at 3pm.
