Council to commence office move

Roscommon County Council will commence the move on Monday 23rd from their existing offices at various locations all over Roscommon town to the new civic headquarters at Aras an Chontae.

The move will take approximately two weeks.

According to the Council ” The new offices are for the people of County Roscommon and by having all departments under the one roof, it will allow the Council to provide services in a modern and efficient way.”

It is hoped to have all departments fully operational at Aras an Chontae by Monday 7th December.

The cost of the project has been estimated at approximately €13m.
