‘Cultural Companions’ continues at King House

The Cultural Companions Programmme continues in King House, Boyle this Wednesday September 6th.

‘Cultural Companion’ is a series of daytime cultural events taking place at venues around the county.

Wednesday October 4th: Charlie McGettigan songs and tunes

Wednesday October 18th: Brian Leyden reading ‘Love these Days’

Wednesday October 25th: Triona Dignam Mullaney reading ‘Rockingham A little Guide to the Big House’

Cultural Companions form the nucleus of a wide-ranging diary of events for the new Cultural Companions programme in Roscommon, which will create local networks of people aged 50+ who accompany each other to arts and cultural events – an initiative of Roscommon Arts Office, Roscommon Arts Centre, Roscommon Volunteer Centre, Roscommon Age Friendly Programme and Age & Opportunity.
