Curlieu Wheelers activities continue this weekend with the Sunday cycle ramped up another few kilometres in preparation for the Coast to Coast challenege in five weeks time.
Departing the Crescent at 8am, cyclists will undertake a 152k ride with a 90k option for those who want a shorter spin.
It is planned to cycle as a group for the first 67k and have a coffee stop together.
Also on Sunday, St. Barry’s GAA club will hold their 50k and 100k cycle in Tarmonbarry.
Registration from 8.30am with 100k riders off at 10am and 50k off at 11am.
In Mayo, the Giro de Baile takes place also on Sunday with three distances, 130k and 60k.
