An Roscommon pharmaceutical plant is doubling its workforce with the creation of 50 new jobs.
International company Alexion are announcing a €100m investment in a new biologics manufacturing facility at their Monksland Industrial Estate plant.
The company already employs over 250 people in Ireland, including 51 in Athlone.
Company general manager Grainne McAlesse said they are firmly comitted to the region, working with local schools and Institute of Technologies
