Roscommon Leader Partnership are holding a number of information sessions to gauge the level of interest in expanding our community food services programme throughout the County of Roscommon and surrounding areas.
The first of these meetings takes place Wednesday April 17th at 6pm in the Hub Castlerea with another meeting taking place also on Wednesday at 8pm in the Leader offices in Roscommon.
On Thursday a meeting takes place in Frenchpark Hall at 5.30pm and at 8pm in the Bush Hotel in carrick on Shannon.
Our community catering service aims to prepare and deliver healthy meals that are nutritionally balanced. We hope to cater for a range of medically related dietary requirements.
RLP Development Officers, will be available at each workshop to discuss the project idea(s). The workshops will include details of the survey being circulated across the county in relation to meals and wheels service. Roscommon Leader Partnership is undertaking this survey to establish if there is a need to extend the Meal Delivery Service that is currently offered in certain parts of the county.
