50/50 Draw
Last Friday’s winner of the Boyle Celtic 50/50 draw was Karen Egan, who won €1540. Congratulations Karen and, and happy spending! Tickets are on sale now for next Friday’s draw from all the usual outlets and online.
Results
All three of our adult teams were in action on Sunday.
First up, our Roberto’s/ Greenrock sponsored men’s reserves made the trip to Dysart for their first game of the season. Unfortunately, three first goals from the home side proved the difference.
Next up, our Downes Construction sponsored women’s team team hosted Shiven Rovers at Celtic Park. Emer Callaghan, Gemma Stenson and Bláthnaid Kilroy each found the back twice with Emma Duggan netting Celtic’s other goal in 7-0 triumph.
Our Wynne’s Bar sponsored men’s first team rounded off the weekend and were just as proficient in front of goal, away to Skyvalley Rovers. Both Shane and Danny Carroll scored hat-tricks while Mick Corrigan and Aaron Calpin fired two each.
Under 12 boys defeated Ballymote Celtic.
Under 12 boys defeated Melvin Rovers.
Under 12 boys were defeated by St. John’s.
Under 14 boys defeated Abbey United.
Under 13 girls defeated Merville United.
Under 13 boys were defeated by Dromore Villa.
Condolences
Everyone at Boyle Celtic wishes our Women’s team Manager, Padraic and family our deepest condolences on the passing of Padraic’s mother Mary. May she rest in peace.
