Fundraising continues for Tennis Clubhouse refurbishment

Boyle Community Tennis Club has commenced a “Wimbledon Tennis Fundraising Sweepstake” to defray costs associated with their Clubhouse Refurbishment Project.
The Club say they “have exciting plans to reinvigorate the clubhouse and future proof the building. Work is due to commence by the end of July on a full roof replacement, new insulated stud supporting wall and increased glazing to improve tennis viewing from inside the building”.
“The clubhouse will also be tapered back at an angle to remove the proximity to Court 1 and allow for an outdoor viewing area. We have received some funding to carry out works, however, construction costs have risen significantly since these grants were applied for”.
“We would like to run this fundraiser to ensure we can close the gap on funding requirements for the project. We need to try and sell 128 entries – (number of players who participate in the Wimbledon first round draw) – all proceeds raised go towards our club improvements!! Please help us achieve this goal – if every member either buys or sells 1 entry, we will reach our target, with the added interests of a grand slam tennis event and potentially winning a prize”!!
“You can purchase your tickets through the “Events” section of our club app or by using the link here“.
“We are so thankful for your ongoing and continued support of Boyle Community Tennis Club”.
