Gardai are investigating if a number of house break-in’s in the Boyle and Gurteen area on Friday evening last are connected.
Thieves gained entry to two residences in Boyle town sometime between 5pm and 9pm on Friday.
Three houses in the general Mullaghroe/Cloonloo/Gurteen area were also entered in the same time frame.
Ballymote and Boyle/Castlerea Gardai are appealing for information on any unusual activity or suspicious vehicles in the areas concerned on Friday evening between 5 and 9pm.

There has also been reports of a number of break-in’s in the general Carrick-on-Shannon and Ballaghaderreen areas over the weekend.
