The Graduation Mass for this year’s Leaving Cert students in Boyle’s Abbey Community College that had been cancelled following an overnight act of vandalism at the school has now been rescheduled for Ballinafad Church at 7pm this evening.
Paint was visible this morning on the front of the College, as can be seen from the accompanying photograph, which prompted a text message to parents from the School Principal stating:
“An incident of vandalism took place at Abbey Community College last night.
Owing to the repairs that have to be carried out the Graduation Mass
scheduled for tonight is cancelled. I regret the inconvenience caused.”
