Kyle wins Best Start Up Award

Boyle man Kyle McLoughlin’s SubTeacher.ie has been chosen as the winner in the Best Start Up Category at the recent Roscommon Enterprise Awards.

Kyle’s business – SubTeacher.ie saw off some strong competition to collect a prize fund €15,000, a certificate and a trophy.

SubTeacher.ie is an online system which connects Post-Primary School Principals and Deputies with Teachers to fill substitute teaching positions.

Speaking to Boyletoday.com following the awards, Kyle said he was delighted to have won the award

” SubTeacher.ie, which was developed in association with the National Association of Principals and Deputies is now into it’s second academic year”

“We are delighted with it’s progress to date and would encourage teachers and schools to register with us”.

“At this stage, we have 100o teachers and 400 schools on our system, added the affable Boyle man.

The full list of winners at the Enterprise Awards are as follows:

A.      The Runner-Up in the BEST BUSINESS IDEA CATEGORY with a prize fund of €3,000, Certificate and Trophy is Kyle Flynn, Heather Fed Fowl.

B.      The Winner in the BEST BUSINESS IDEA CATEGORY with a prize fund of €7,000, Certificate and Trophy is Desmond Dolan, MistCalls.

C.      The Runner-Up in the BEST START UP CATEGORY with a prize fund of €5,000, a Certificate and a trophy is Neil Patrick Collins, Cryptic Clique.

D.      The Winner of the BEST START UP CATEGORY 2016 with a prize fund of €15,000, a Certificate and a trophy is Kyle McLoughlin, Posude T/A SubTeacher.ie.

E.       The  Runner-Up in the BEST ESTABLISHED BUSINESS  CATEGORY with a prize fund of €5,000, A Certificate and a Trophy is Brian Larkin, Centrepoint Autos.

F.       The  Winner of the BEST ESTABLISHED BUSINESS  CATEGORY with a prize fund of €15,000, a Certificate and a Trophy is Eoghan Kenny, Project 5 Creations T/A BeltLock.ie.

G.     The Final Award for the OVERALL COUNTY ROSCOMMON WINNER 2016 is Desmond Dolan, MistCalls
