The peaceful death has taken place of Carmel Costello (née Gaffney), Ballyfarnon.
Surrounded by her devoted family and in the tender care of the staff of Oncology Unit, University Hospital, Sligo.
Beloved mother of the late Cian.
Predeceased by her parents Joe and Annie and brother John Francis.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Ben, brother Joseph, sister Goretti Conlon (Lanesboro), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her large circle of friends.
Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Friday evening from 6.00pm until 9.00pm and on Saturday evening from 4pm until 7.30pm. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyfarnon at 8.00pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Sunday afternoon at 2.00pm. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Oncology Unit, University Hospital, Sligo. House private please
