The death has occurred of Des McGonigle, Cleen, Knockvicar, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, formerly Clones Co. Monaghan, February 12th 2022 peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, and surrounded by his devoted wife and family. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Tessie and his first wife Pauline.
Des will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, daughter Joanne, sons Barry, Diarmuid, Daniel, Michael and their partners, sister Myra (Dublin) brother Finbar (Dublin) sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, former work colleagues, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence Cleen, Knockvicar on Tuesday evening (February 15th ) from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. (walk through please). Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Crossna on Wednesday morning (February 16th) arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kileenan Cemetery.
