Late Mimi Hatfield

The death has occurred of Mary Anne ‘MIMI’ Scheib-Hatfield, peacefully, at her home in Corrigeenroe, Co. Roscommon, March 7th 2022, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Rathmines, Dublin, in the loving care of the wonderful Roscommon Palliative Care Team led by Dee Hickson and her carer and friend Ruth Kearney.

Especially missed by her husband Roger Hatfield, her siblings Raymond Jr. and Marta, her sons Michael, Peter and Edmund (Ted) Dillon, her stepsons Adam, Keith and Sam Hatfield, daughters-in-law Amanda, Janette, Cathy and Emer, nephews and niece Brady, Dan,Stephen and Julie, grandsons, Jacob, Logan and Miles, granddaughters Ciara, Isla, Claire and Amy. Mimi will be sadly missed by her many cousins, colleagues from St. Michael’s House special school in Dublin and Carlisle in Pennsylvania, together with many close friends on both sides of the Atlantic.

Reposing at her residence on Friday evening from 3 p.m. until 6p.m. Committal Service will take place on Saturday (19th March) at 2.30 in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, 158 Harold’s Cross Rd, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, D6W HY98. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday afternoon (21st March) at 1p.m. in St. Teresa’s Church, Corrigeenroe. No flowers please, donation in lieu, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society or Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
