The death has occurred of Most Reverend Dr. Thomas Flynn, Bishop Emperitus of the Diocese of Achonry, Ballaghaderreen.
Most Reverend Dr. Thomas Flynn, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Achonry (St. Michael’s, Cathedral Grounds and formerly Aughalustia, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon) – June 2nd, 2015; peacefully at St. Attracta’s Nursing Home, Charlestown, surrounded by family.
Deeply mourned by his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, Bishop Brendan Kelly and the priests, religious and people of the diocese.
Requiescat In Pace
Lying in repose in St. Nathy’s Cathedral on Friday evening from 6pm concluding with Night Prayer at 9pm. Concelebrated Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon at 3pm followed by interment in the Cathedral grounds.
