The death has occurred of Ronan O’Conghaile, Ardcarne, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Bealnamulla, Co.Roscommon.
Ronan passed away peacefully in Sligo Hospital surrounded by his family on the 27th October 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Seamus and Nelly and daughter Áine. He will be deeply missed by his wife Marie (née Corcoran), and children, Niamh, Conor, Donal, their partners Trevor and Jay, his granddaughters Ailbhe and Caoimhe and his brother Padhraic. Ronan will be fondly remembered by nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and the staff of Ardcarne Garden Centre.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring staff in the oncology ward in Sligo Hospital and St. Elizabeth’s ward in the Mater Private Hospital.

Reposing at family home (Eircode F52Y925) on Thursday 29th October strictly from 3pm-6pm. A celebration of Ronan’s life will be held in St. Michael’s Church, Cootehall (Eircode F52AF85) on Friday, 30th October, at 12 pm, followed by interment in Ardcarne Cemetery (Eircode F52RR97).
