The death has occurred of Veronica Dowd (nee Keenan), Carrick Road, Boyle, Co Roscommon on 7th March 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the devoted staff of the Plunkett Home, Boyle.
Veronica will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Paddy and her loving daughters Lorraine, Martina and Louise, her grandchildren Joseph and Grace, step grandchildren Ellie and Danny, sons-in-law Harvey, Vincent and Elie, sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Kevin, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Pre-deceased by her parents James and Mary, sisters Philomena and Sheila, brothers Eamonn, Jimmy and Austin.

Reposing at Mahon & O’Dowd Funeral Home, Boyle on Tuesday 10th March from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday 11th March to arrive at St Michael’s Church, Croghan for funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Cremation at Lakeland’s Crematorium, Cavan.
Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
