The recipient of the 2021 Roscommon Arts Office Chapbook Bursary is launching her work on the 30th April at Creighton’s Bar in Boyle.
‘The Bottom of the Hour Glass’ is Anne Byrne’s debut collection of short stories and will be officially launched by author and poet Gerry Boland on Saturday 30th at 7pm.
Anne, who lives in Co. Sligo has close ties to Boyle having worked and gone to school in the town.
Retailing at €7, ‘The Bottom of the Hour Glass’ will be available to purchase in Creighton’s on the night and from the Una Bhan Craft Shop.
The Roscommon Chapbook Bursary has been established to assist Roscommon writers with the costs associated with publishing a modest collection of poems (15 – 20) or a compact collection of short stories (3 – 6).
