Lough Key in Boyle will host the second round of the Midland’s Aquathon series 2026 on Wednesday June 10th.
The Midlands Aquathon series takes place every Wednesday evening in June, each week a different club hosts the event.
1. Lanesboro -Wednesday June 3rd
2. Lough Key – Wednesday June 10th
3. Tarmonbarry – Wednesday June 17th
4. Athlone – Wednesday June 24th
5. Crookewood – Wednesday July 1st
The series takes place every Wednesday evening in June and first week in July, with a different club hosting the event with a 7:30 pm start time. The distance is 750m open water swim followed by a 5 Km run. There is also a shorter option with a 250 M swim & 5 km run. The short option is ideal for anyone new to triathlon. A relay team is also an option. Entry is only €15 and €30 relay.
Triathlon Ireland membership is also required.
