Annual 5k in Forest Park raises €2,800 for Autism RPM West

The organiser of this year’s 5k fun walk/run in aid of Autism RPM West in Lough Key Forest Park would like to thank “all the great people who turned out to support the event”.

Boyle native Majella Frizzell (nee McCrann) said: “The weather was very kind to us and I would like to thank Louise manager of Lough Key for allowing us to use their grounds. Also many thanks to the following Sean Donoghue who was our Medic, Boyletoday.com, Realboyle, Marie from the parish bulletin, the Roscommon Herald and all the local shops who graciously hung up our poster and advertised our 5k”.

“We raised over €2,800 which I am very grateful for”.

“The 1st young man home was Lucas Lyons from North Leitrim Athletics club, 2nd man home was Edward Payne and 3rd man home was Tom Nutherford. 1st woman home was Edel Keenehan and 2nd woman home was Ruth Candon”.

“Please God we will all meet again next year in this wonderful location” concluded Majella.
