The principal parts have been cast for Boyle Musical Society’s production of Hairspray.
The production team have revealed who will be playing the various characters in the forthcoming show.
Tracey Turnblad will be played by Karen Gordon
Corny Collins will be played by Ronan Smith
Stephen Tighe will take on the role of Edna
Colette Noone will play Penny Pingleton
Velma von Tussle and Amber von Tussle will be played by Niamh Noonan and Cliona Dowd respectively.
Link Larkin will be played by Darragh Beirne.
Mark Egan will take on the role of Seaweed.
Niamh Grehan will play Little Inez.
Catherine Bolger will play Motormouth
Diarmuid Beirne will play Wilbur Turnblad
Edel Noonan will play Prudy Pingleton.
More parts to be announced later.
Tickets for Hairspray will go on sale in late October.
