Carrick road works recommences

Following a two week break, the controversial road works on the N4 in Carrick on Shannon is due to recommence today Monday August 12th.

While there was no work scheduled last week, road marking work did cause long delays for motorists

Works have been ongoing at night time since Monday 15th July but will now recommence at 5am and conclude at 4pm from today Monday.

The works have been taking place along the N4 from Ging`s Public House in Cortober to the Tesco roundabout with traffic control and lights in operation.

Leitrim County Council advise motorists to expect delays and parking restrictions along the N4 during this period and apologise for any inconvenience that maybe caused.
