Run Walk n ‘Roll takes place today

Boyle’s annual fundraiser for Cancer Research takes place in Boyle on Sunday the 12th of October at 3pm.

Formally known as The Terry Fox Run and now in it’s 19th year, Run Walk n’Roll starts on it’s 5.4km route from St. Joseph’s Hall.

It will then go via Crescent, Bridge Street, Main Street, Abbeytown, Warren, Maple Drive, Carrick Rd. and back up Marian Rd finishing again at St.Joseph’s Hall.

There will be refreshments served afterwards and there will also be volunteers from the Irish Cancer Society present with free Cancer awareness for all.

Registration takes place in St. Joseph’s Hall from 2pm.

Entry is €10 for adults, €5 for children with concessions for students and families.

This year there will be a specially designed Run Walk N Roll medal for the first 300 finishers.

For those with sponsor cards entry is free with €25 sponsorship. There will also be a perpetual trophy for the first male and female. For more details contact Damian 086 3942388. Please come out and have a healthy family day out and raise funds for Cancer Research
