Congratulations to Boyle’s Michelle Lannon who was a member of the Irish team that took 2nd place on Saturday at the British & Irish Masters Cross-Country Championships in Aintree, Liverpool.
The team prize was won by England with Scotland in third place
Michelle was a member of the four person team in the ‘Women 45’ category for the competition and finished in a credible 35th position from a field of 119.
The others include Breda Gaffney, Mallow AC, Emilia Dan, Dunboyne AC and Jackie Carty Kilmore AC.
Last November Michelle was a member of the Irish team who secured silver at the British & Irish Masters Cross-Country Championships in Swansea, Wales as part of the four person ‘Women 45’ team.
