Two Boyle girls will be among the 17 entrants from all over Roscommon who will vie to be crowned the Roscommon Rose on Saturday night May 7th.
Hollie Hersey representing Lough Key Forest Park and Emma Gannon representing Abbey Haven Care Centre and Nursing Home will hope the title comes to Boyle after the gala event concludes in the Abbey Hotel.
Compere for the night will be Today Fm’s Fergal D’Arcy.
The winner will go forward to represent the county at the international Rose of Tralee festival in August.
