Two developments seek permission in Boyle town

Permission is being sought from Roscommon County Council by Bank of Ireland for development at it’s building at Knocknashee, Main Street in Boyle.

The development will consist of the removal of the existing stone steps at the main entrance to be replaced by accessible works to the interior to include: (a) Existing door and frame to be extended, (b) New internal steps from lobby to banking hall, (c) Form new internal ramp structure in existing lobby space, (d) Remove 3 existing internal walls and all associated ancillary site works.

The building is a protected structure and is within an architectural Conservation Area.

Meanwhile in a separate development, ProCloud Horizon Ltd, are seeking permission at Termon Td, The Crescent, Boyle  to: (a) Carry out internal and external alterations to two existing dwellings consisting of one two storey dwelling and one two and a half storey dwelling, (b) Change of use of the two existing dwellings to commercial office use at ground and first floors (the two dwellings shall be amalgamated together to form one building, (c) Construct of a two storey extension to the rear and side gable of the existing dwellings to be used for commercial-office use within the existing dwellings, (d) To demolish existing detached single storey outbuildings to rear of the existing dwellings and (e) To carry out all associated site works.
