The death has occurred of Sr. Mary Carty, 2 Saint Patrick’s Avenue, Sligo Town, Sligo and formerly Knockroe, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.
Peacefully at St. Patrick’s Avenue, Sligo.
Predeceased by her father Patrick (Packie) and sister; Concepta. Sadly missed by her mother Mary (Patsy), sister; Ann (Feeney) (Strokestown), Co. Roscommon, brothers: Michael (Knockarush), Boyle, Co Roscommon, Joe ,Knockroe, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, brother-in-law; Ollie, sisters-in-law : Pauline and Fionnuala, her adored nieces: Megan, Sarah, Jane and Niamh, nephew Sean, sisters of Mercy of the Western Province, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at her family home in Knockroe, Boyle, Co. Roscommon from 12 noon to 3pm Friday. Reposing at Saint Patrick’s Avenue, Sligo from 5pm to 7pm Friday. Funeral to arrive at the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception for Mass of Christian burial at 11.30am Saturday. Burial to follow in the community plot in Sligo Cemetery.
