Wide range of events in Boyle for Culture Night

Culture night takes place this year on Friday September 19th with a number of events taking place around Boyle.
King House
4–7pm – Community Festival of Fun in the Courtyard, hosted by Boyle Family Resource Centre.
5–6pm- Kathy Raftery Films – After the Storm (2025), One by One the Lights Go Out (2024), A Roscommon Snapshot (2023). (Booking required).
5.30–6.30pm – Artist Martin Heron – A Word in your Shell-Like exhibition and Make Your Own.6.30–7.30pm – Niall Sheerin Film – In God’s Hands: A Portrait of Artist Michael Sheerin (Booking required).
7pm – Duo Lyrica Concert – flute & piano with Fionnuala & Kieran Moynihan (Booking required).
Una Bhan Tourism
4-5pm – Children’s Creative Hour (Ages 5–10). A fun and engaging session led by gifted children’s author and illustrator Trudy Callaghan. No booking required.
6-7pm – Jewellery Workshop with Hazelrocks Jewellery.
An Rioga Art Gallery
5-8pm – Late opening of the art gallery.
Boyle Abbey
6pm – Tour of Boyle Abbey with Thomas Campbell
Creighton’s Bar
7 -8pm – The Long Road/An Bothar Fada with trio Christina Tobin (vocals), Chris Robson (guitar) and Damien Evans (double bass).
Dodd’s Crescent Bar
7.30-9pm – Boyle Songwriters Circle – Local songwriters perform their best songs.
Boyle Family Resource
8.15-9.30pm- Boyle Film Club screening of ‘His and Hers’ (2009) by Director Ken Wardrop – screening with Q&A.
Lovage at the Gate Lodge
7pm – Celebrate Culture Night with Live Music and Tapas (booking recommended)
