This Friday night is Culture Night with a large number of events taking place in and around Boyle:
BOYLE FILM CLUB
Boyle Film Club Evening of Puppetry with the show Granny and the Salmon of Knowledge by Little Gem Puppets followed by screening of documentary film Pulling Strings – Eugene Lambert, directed by Damien Farrell in Boyle Family Resource Centre.

Christine Tobin with Phil Robinson. There is a Place for Us, Christine Tobin with Phil Robson – inspired by the Leonard Bernstein song and by the warmth and welcoming community spirit of the Hidden Heartlands.

KING HOUSE
Rehearsed reading and Q&A Session of work in progress The Bovinity with Rory Nevin. The play explores the dairy industry, methods and processes of dairy farming, treatment of animals (and cruelty) in terms of making profits, Irish mythology and language and cows.

Boyle Civic Art Collection. Culture Night provides an opportunity to view the Boyle Civic Art Collection exhibited in King House. The 2024-2026 Exhibition presents 90 pieces of painting and sculpture, showcasing a broad range of media and the best of contemporary Irish artists, capturing the essence of the Boyle Civic Art Collection.
