Ballinameen Tractor Run to visit Boyle on Saturday

Ballinameen GAA Club’s annual ‘Christmas Light’s Tractor Run’ will take place this Saturday December 2nd

Registration for the event takes place at 4.30pm at the GAA pitch with the Run commencing at 5.30pm.

The convoy will travel to Boyle via Granny and Grange, passing through Boyle town around 5.45 to 6pm. It will travel a loop of the town via the Crescent, Shop Street, Military Road and Bridge Street before heading to Elphin via the N61 and the Windmill Road and returning the Ballinameen GAA pitch where refreshments will be served.

The children’s mini Tractor/Truck Run will start at 4 pm. Santa will arrive at 4.30pm, and the main event, the tractor/truck run, will depart Ballinameen at 5.30pm.

Winners presentation 7.30pm and music in the Crossbar at 9.30pm

All money raised will be split between Little Blue Hero’s Charity and the club.

Please support the run with bucket collectors in Boyle and Elphin.

Entry Fee €20 with all proceeds going towards the running of Ballinameen GAA club.

The Ballinameen Christmas Markets will take place upstairs in the Club Dressing Rooms in advance of the Tractor Run and will be open from 3.30 pm on Saturday with Christmas tunes played outside by local musician Sean Morris.

On Friday evening at 7pm, the switching on of the  Christmas Tree lights will take place at Davonnna Park. The children from the local schools will be singing Christmas Carol’s and everyone welcome.
