It is reported that a Ballymote man was injured in a shooting in Cavan on Saturday.
Noel Muldoon from Cluid in Ballymote was discovered by passers-by on Saturday evening at Aghalane Bridge between Ballyconnell and Derrylinn with gun shoot wounds to both legs.
Mr Muldoon is currently receiving treatment for his non life threatening injuries at Cavan General Hospital.
