The Bishop of Elphin says he feels the revised water charges are relatively modest, but he understands that people may be suffering financially.
Bishop Kevin Doran says he’s particularly mindful of the problems faced by residents in the County Roscommon part of the diocese, where boil water notices are in effect.
Speaking on Ocean FM’s North West Today Show, he said the Government had a job to do.
