Boyle artists Naomi Draper and Mark Garry’s exhibition titled “A seed’s a star” opened Thursday at the Hamilton Gallery in Sligo.
The exhibition continues until Saturday 30th July.
Naomi and Mark involve elements of nature in their work in a variety of ways, making works that are measured and quiet, often requiring meticulous systems of construction.
Both artists integrate craft techniques as a means to explore our associative connection with the natural world.
This collection of sculptures and two dimensional works subtly questions the fragility of the relationship between humans and nature and the poetic potential of plants.
The Hamilton Gallery, 4 Castle Street is open to the public from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday with free admission
