Boyle Ladies News

Super finale to the Ladies season with both the U16s and the Minors winning County titles in pulsating finals, each winning their final by a single point. The hearts of the supporters were truly tested!

The U16 girls beat Clann na nGael in the Division 1A Championship last Tuesday in Tarmonbarry on a scoreline of 3-06 to 3-05, played in very tough conditions. There was immense work rate from both teams but a great team performance, under the management of Kieran McKeon and coaches Adrian Brogan & Martina Casey resulted in a deserved win for Boyle. It was a great win for the club, being the first ever Division 1A title at any age group.

Prior to the match the girls were presented with training tops sponsored by Beat the Bounce, Bouncy Castles (& Jump St. Carrick) and Joe Simon Home, Garden and Build.

The Minor Ladies followed suit on Sunday beating St. Brigids (3-13 to 5-06) in the Division 2A final. The game was end to end with Boyle’s last minute goal giving the team a victory. Well done to the girls on a great performance and to the management team of Vinnie Flanagan, Damien Regan and Suzi Keenahan.

Thanks to all the players, coaches and all who helped throughout the year for their dedication and commitment. A special word of thanks to our sponsors for their generosity and to the Roscommon Herald, Boyletoday.com and Realboyle for their publicity. A sincere thanks also to the parents and all who supported the teams at all age levels.

Looking forward to a bright 2019
