Boyle GAA club weekly update

There was no winner of this weeks club lotto which now stands at €9,100. €20 winners were Barney Supple, Brian McQuaid and Evelyn O Donnell. Next weeks draw will take place in the Stairs.

The Cooney Motors Junior team were defeated by St Ronans on Saturday. Boyle were missing many of the starters from their previous outing but still preformed well at stages. The team was as follows: D. McGovern, C. Horan, C. Boylan, O. Regan, L. Casey, J. Cox, C. Beirne, S. Tonra, J. Regan, C. Deery, T. Henry, K. Sweeney, S. Mullins, K. Morris, S. Spellman.

The Senior Ladies bet Ballinameen convincingly on Sunday morning last. The U 16 girls lost to a strong Eire Og team.

Of the pitch, Important date for your diary: The Club’s Three Year Plan will be launched by Connacht Council Secretary, John Prenty, at 7 pm on Thursday the 4th of April in the Clubrooms It is a great honour for the Club that John is taking time out of his busy schedule to unveil what is in effect, our road map, for the next three years

The Club extends its sympathies to Sandra and John Carroll and the McDermottroe family  on the sudden passing of Mickey.
Condolences are also expressed to Gerry Mc Cormack and the Cox family on the passing of Ena.

The club would like to congratulate club player Peter Lavin on winning the J2 Connacht league with Carrick at thee weekend. Peter played second row where they beat Tuam in Ballyhaunis.
