Rathdiveen, Boyle native and New York resident Hilary Beirne will be honoured tonight as “Irishman of the Year” by the Emerald Society of New York Transit Authority at a Gala Dinner in Queens, New York.
Hilary, who is a frequent visitor to his home town is also the Chairman of the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Foundation and Executive Secretary of the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
