Christmas Craft Fair

The annual outdoor market in the grounds of King House commenced last night Friday December 6th and continued Saturday December 7th.

Despite a light drizzle at times, the first night proved a great success with cars lining the length of Military Road and Main Street and the Royal Hotel car park full to capacity. Saturday saw large crowds again visit the market.

Local craft makers and producers came together to transform the grounds and long hall of King House into a magical traditional Christmas Market with over 18 stalls decorated and lit up offering a variety of goods such as knitwear, wood turning, baked goodies, Christmas decorations, jewellery, books, hot waffles and some unique hand crafted stocking fillers. (pic John willow and monk wikicommons)
