The official opening of the Cootehall Barracks Garden Park and playground took place on Friday 20th June at 4.30pm .
Cllr John Cummins, Cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Councilofficially opened the park.
Cootehall Community Development group who instigated this project over 6 years ago and worked hard to get to this day, and invitde everyone to come along and enjoy.
Later that night a fundraising draw in aid of Cootehall Tidy Towns took place in The Watersplash pub. Music was by Ciaran Reynolds- door raffle and food. Raffle included prizes for Garth Brooks tickets, Ryanair tickets and more.
