Roscommon County Childcare Committee invite parents and or guardians of children in Boyle to participate in a public consultation meeting this evening Monday 24th to discuss:
- The challenges in meeting children’s and families requirements currently in the Boyle area regarding accessing ECCE free pre school year. (The ECCE programme is a universal free pre-school programme available to all eligible children for two years before starting primary school)
- To gauge the interest and provide details, including responsibilities, on setting up a voluntary management committee to establish an ELC setting.
- Identifying and sourcing a premises in Boyle town which would support the development of an ECCE and meet the Child and Family Agency Act 2015 and the Childcare Act 1991 (Early Years Services Regulations) 2016.
The meeting will be held on Monday 24th July in Boyle Family Resource Centre at 8pm.
