Roscommon Gardai are asking anyone who was in the vicinity of the Sacred Heart Church in Roscommon on Thursday evening to contact them following the theft of an ancient cross from the Church.
The replica Cross of Cong was stolen sometime on Thursday evening.
Gardai are appealing for any information or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the church in Roscommon on Thursday to contact them on 090 66-38300.
