The firm behind the award winning hit series Moone Boy received a €2.7m investment last year.
New company records for Moone Boy series 3 show that Dublin based Messina Investments Ltd injected €2.72m into the company last June.
Moone Boy Ltd – the company behind the first series received a total of €3.6m in funding from Messina Investments and Harbour Entertainment, while Moone Boy series 2 received €2.8m from Canco Nominees and €1.9m from Grand Pictures.
The funding shows the belief the investment companies have in the show which snapped up an Emmy Award in America last year and which is now being shown on Sky TV Monday nights.
