Full line-up announced for ‘Night and Day’ festival

This summer’s ‘Night and Day’, which will be held in Boyle’s Lough Key Forest Park has released its full line-up of music and cultural acts taking part at this year’s festival.

The full line-up sees a mix of emerging and established talent across a range of genres. Today’s announcement includes renowned Irish singer-songwriter David Keenan, Irish post-rock band God Is An Astronaut, Berlin-based Irish DJ and multi-instrumentalist Kev Sheridan, IRish DJ The Drifter, Irish duo Whenyoung as well as Irish rapper JyellowL.

Previously announced acts included American indie-Rock band Mercury Rev, alternative singer-songwriter Anna Calvi, renowned Irish band Hothouse Flowers, Pillow Queens, and Wallis Bird.

The festival site at Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, Co. Roscommon contains an extensive range of activities to enjoy such as kayaking, zip lining, bike trails, boat tours, tree top walks and more.

The festival ‘Family Zone’ will again provide a full itinerary of activities throughout the weekend. Details will be announced on Monday morning.

Speaking on the line-up, festival director Brendan Hurley said: “Excitement is building ahead of this year’s festival. With one of the most spectacular venues in the country, more great acts, and a significant variety of on-site activities, we know this year’s event will build on the magic and community that was created last year. We all know that the acts draw in the music-lovers, but it’s the crowd that makes an event come alive, so we can’t wait to welcome a crowd of people ready to be part of making that happen.”

Night and Day takes place on 24th and 25th June 2023 in Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. The festival is a strictly over-20s event, but under-12s can enter for free when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
