Holy Week ‘online’ in the Diocese of Elphin

The Diocese of Elphin has published the following online schedule for Holy Week:

LOCAL RADIO 

Ocean FM will broadcast Mass from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo at 10.30am every Sunday.  Locally you can tune in at 102.5 – 105 FM.  Online at www.oceanfm.ie or download the Radio Player App and search for Ocean FM Ireland.

Around the country, some other local radio stations will broadcast Sunday Masses.  Thank you to local radio for providing this service!

MASS VIA CHURCH WEBCAMS IN THE DIOCESE

There are six churches in our diocese with webcam facilities.

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo – Mass will be celebrated daily for the duration of these restrictions at 10.30am and 7.00pm – https://sligocathedral.ie/live-feed-from-cathedral/

Ss Peter and Paul’s Church, Athlone – Mass will be celebrated Monday – Saturday at 9.30am and on Sunday at 11.00am. www.churchservices.tv/athlone

St Joseph’s Church, Boyle – Mass will be celebrated Monday – Saturday at 10.00am and Sundays at 10.30am www.boyleparish.ie

OTHER OPTIONS 

Knock Shrine – Mass will be broadcast online on their website at 12.00 noon and 7.30pm (commencing with Rosary at 7.00pm) daily. www.knockshrine.ie 

Vatican Television – Pope Francis has arranged for his celebration of Mass to be televised from the Vatican at 6.00am Irish time (7.00am Italian time).  The broadcast is simultaneously translated into the English language.  For access please link to https://www.vaticannews.va/en.html

Radio Maria Ireland

Radio Maria Ireland facilitates the broadcast of Mass each day of the week at 10.00am from its studios in Dublin.  Mass can be listened to in four different ways:

–          on www.radiomaria.ie

–          on the digital terrestrial television channel Saorview, on channel 210

–          on the Radio Maria Ireland mobile app, and,

–          on the Radio Maria-Ireland Facebook page.

EWTN
Eternal Word Television Network is a Catholic television station which broadcasts from the USA programmes some of which are produced or presented by Irish priests and religious, including daily Mass.  EWTN is available on Sky tv and free to view online:

Shalom TV
Is a Catholic television station which broadcasts live from Rome including daily Mass celebrated by Pope Francis.  It is available free to view on some digital television networks and via the internet. Please see http://www.shalomworld.ie/
