The death has occurred of John Patrick (Johnny) Scanlon, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.
Peacefully, after a brief illness, in the exceptional care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital, whilst surrounded by his heart broken family.
Survived by his sister Patricia, her husband Paul, their daughter Caroline, extended family, neighbours and friends.
