Lough Key in Boyle will host the second round of the Midland’s Aquathon series 2025 on Wednesday June 11th.
The Midlands Aquathon series takes place every Wednesday evening in June, each week a different club hosts the event.

2. Lough Key – Wed. June 11th
3. Lanesboro – Wed. June 18th
4. Athlone – Wed. June 25th
5. Midlands – Wed. July 2nd
The series takes place every Wednesday evening in June and first week in July, with a different club hosting the event with a 7:30 pm start time. The distance is 750 M open water swim followed by a 5 Km run. There is also a shorter option with a 250 M swim & 5 km run. The short option is ideal for anyone new to triathlon. A relay team is also an option. Entry is only €10 and is confined to current members of the 5 clubs involved or any other triathlon club.
Triathlon Ireland membership is also required.
