A public meeting will take place in Carrick on Shannon tonight Monday 28th in opposition to Lidl’s plans to relocate to the east of the Leitrim town.
The Lidl store is currently located on the Boyle Road in Cortober.
The meeting will take place in the Bush Hotel commencing at 8pm.
The company were refused permission by Leitrim Co Co to build a store at Attinfinlay and it is understood they intend to appeal the decision.
Local man Fintan Cox says the meeting will advise the public how to lodge an observation with An Bord Pleanala
