The N4 Sligo to Dublin road has reopened outside Longford following a fatal road traffic collision last night.
36-year-old man died in a car crash.
The accident happened just after 11pm, at Edgewardstown on the N4 Dublin to Sligo road, when a car the man was driving collided with a minibus.
The bus was carrying a group of teenagers returning from a music event in Longford.
The man, believed to be a foreign national, was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
There were no reports of serious injuries among the minibus passengers.
Gardaí have preserved the scene as part of their investigation.
