Gardai arrested a man yesterday (Thursday) on the N4 at Cloonamahon, between Boyle and Sligo, who was 8 times over the legal limit to drive a vehicle.
Sligo Roads Policing Unit attended a Road Traffic Collision on Thursday at Cloonamahon, Sligo, where thankfully, nobody was injured.
The driver of a vehicle involved was arrested and brought to Ballymote Garda Station where he was found to be 8 times over the legal limit to drive.
He was also found to have no insurance, and have a previous disqualification which had him banned from driving for 10 years, in 2019.
He has been charged and will appear before Sligo District Court.
